Life-Long English Learning by Gian Luigi Turelli

It is now almost three years since I started enjoying the English classes at LaCasa. From the first day, I have loved the incredible job the teachers are doing for us, their commitment in every single lesson.

The more time I spent having conversations and reading in English, the more I have learned, but not just that. Since that first English class I started feeling part of a community, a community of learners. It is a place where friendships can start and then strengthen, an open environment where anyone can feel free to share their thoughts and their cultures, and where everyone is welcome. Our strength is our diversity.

The best gift for any of us students is that you teachers are giving us the tools to succeed in our lives, day after day. You have allowed us to dream about the next steps to take in our lives, made us aware about our potential, and encouraged us to pursue our goals more fearlessly.

"Gratitude is the fairest blossom which springs from the soul" according to Henry Ward Beecher. Being part of a multicultural and diverse place such as LaCasa is a blessing. And learning and having fun at the same time is priceless.

Thank you!

I am Salome from Mexico by Maria Salome Camacho De Ito

I am studying English. My dream is to become a United States Citizen. It is important for me because I want to live with my daughter in this country. I want to vote to elect new leaders, be loyal to the United States, and obey the laws.

this country is amazing. If you don't speak English, you can study English in LaCasa. I am happy because I understand the lessons that my teachers Donald and Robert give me. They are always kind and have good advice and smiles.
